A public archive of public signs.
Illinois publishes the current state of its dynamic highway message signs through a public ArcGIS feed. Chi Signs checks that feed every fifteen minutes, keeps a history when messages change, and highlights phrases repeated across the network.
This is an unofficial art-and-infrastructure project. It is not a traffic service. Messages can be delayed, incomplete, or just plain weird. For actual travel decisions, use official sources and your eyeballs.
